In the evening of Thursday, October 19, 2017, in concert with our board meeting, the Aero Club will be guests of the Air Victory Museum at South Jersey Regional Airport. Members and friends will have the chance to view the museum from 6PM-8PM and then see a presentation by the museum staff.
Cost is $40 per person that includes a 7PM dinner at the Airport Cafe and a donation to the museum. If you wish to only attend the museum event, the cost is $10 per person. You must sign up in advance for dinner.
This compact museum houses about a dozen military jet aircraft and trainers. The large and powerful the F-14A Tomcat and F-4A Phantom II dwarf the A-4C Skyhawk and the full size 1903 Wright Flyer replica. The museum also has a collection of military uniforms, engines and ordinance along with informative displays of military aviation history.

Pete Bunce is the President of General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) and one of the directors of the Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF) which is dedicated to preserving recreational airstrips throughout the United States.

The Aero Club will be guests at the Bellanca Airfield Musuem in concert with our board meeting. Members and friends will have the chance to view the museum from 6PM-8PM and then view a presentation by Frank Ianni about the history of Giuseppe Bellanca and his Bellanca Airfield and factory. Built in 1928 by Bellanca and Henry B. duPont just south of the current New Castle County Airport, the factory produced nearly 3000 aircraft before closing in 1954.
We will collect $20 per person for the Aero Club operating fund and for a museum donation. No food will be served, but there are many great restaurants nearby for dining beforehand.

The Aero Club of PA is planning a fly out to Eagles Mere Air Museum, departing the Philadelphia area around 10AM. We will arrive around noon and return late-afternoon. We expect to eat lunch just after arrival.
If you plan to fly your aircraft, we’d like to get airplane details and headcount and want to know if you have room for more passengers. If you are looking for a seat, let us know where you live and we will try to match you to an airplane. Of course, anyone is free to make the scenic drive, too. Contact us at mailbox@aeroclubpa.org.
