America 250 – First Balloon Flight
In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Aero Club will honor the first balloon flight in America in 1793 in Philadelphia.
Looking for volunteers to man an interactive booth at the Philadelphia Atheneaum, 219 S. 6th Street, January 3 from 11-1. Contact Aero Club of Deb Harding.

NAS Wildwood/Cape May Airfest 2025

NASW AIRFEST
When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug 30. (Rain date: Aug 31)
Where: Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, Cape May Airport (KWWD)
The Aero Club of PA and EAA Chapter 216 have been invited to attend in the annual AirFest at Cape May, Wildwood Naval Air Station on Labor Day weekend. Participating pilots and passengers get special parking privileges and free admission in exchange for displaying their aircraft on the flight line. Folks volunteering to work the Aero Club or EAA tables also get free admission.
We will arrive as the show opens and can leave at any time. The event will feature tours of the museum, live music, beer garden, food trucks, exhibitors, and and historic aircraft. All participating pilots will recieve a remembrance gift from the museum. For more info, see USNASW.org
Ramp space will be limited, so we will sign up aircraft in the order we receive registration. If you have to cancel, that is OK, but registering will get on the list for updates and procedures.
